📢 Medicare Update: Watch for Your Letters

The Annual Election Period (AEP) is right around the corner, and this year it’s especially important to pay close attention to your mail.

What to Watch For

  • Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) Letter – should arrive by October 1. Review it carefully for changes to your plan.

  • Termination Letter (UCARE and other carriers, too) – You may receive a notice that your plan is ending. Please save this letter and send us a copy (you can email us a scan or photo of the document).

Why It Matters

  • If your plan is ending, you’ll need to choose a new plan before December 31, 2025, to avoid gaps in coverage starting January 1, 2026.

  • A termination letter also gives you a special “Guarantee Issue” right to choose a Medigap (Medicare Supplement) plan without health underwriting.

What You Should Do

✅ Read your ANOC as soon as it arrives.

✅ Save your TERMINATION letter (if you get one) and send it to us.

✅ Log in to your client portal to update your medications, doctors, and Scope of Appointment form. If you need the link again just let us know.

📌 Tip: For most of you, staying put in your current plan is likely the best option while the industry stabilizes — but we’ll review together.

Stay tuned: I’ll be announcing Annual Notice of Change meetings soon to walk through updates for 2026.

🍁 Fall Fun in Minnesota

Fall is my favorite season — crisp air, colorful leaves, and cozy traditions. A couple of my favorite fall activities are:

🍂 Leaf-peeping in Lutsen. Ride the gondola and soak up the fall colors. Details here.

🍎 Visiting apple orchards. There are so many wonderful orchards in the Twin Cities area. Here’s a guide to the best ones.

🥣 Recipe Corner: Cozy Fall Soup

When fall rolls around, I love making soups in the Instant Pot. 📌 Here’s a little tip: instead of vegetable stock, blend carrots and celery with water — it makes the soup rich and hearty.

One of my favorites: Instant Pot Butternut Squash Soup. Perfect for a chilly October evening! a guide to the best ones.

Warm squash soup look so cozy.
