Medicare: What's new for 2026

Medicare has released key updates for 2026: 

• Part D Premiums: Average monthly premium will be $38.99. 

• Part D Deductible: Increasing to $615 (though most plans waive it for Tier 1 & 2 prescriptions). 

• Part D Maximum Out-of-Pocket: $2,100 (a $100 increase from 2025). 

• Part B Premiums: Projected to be $206.50/month (up from $185 in 2025). 

• Part B Deductible: Projected at $288 (up from $257 in 2025).
